A workshop on how to start a research project will be held for Secondary 1 to Secondary 5 students to sharpen their skills in carrying out scientific research. Outstanding young scientists from the YASHK will lead the workshops to teach the high school students effective ways to start a research project and to improve their analytical, planning, organising and presentation capabilities. Students are required to attend at least two sessions of the scientists sharing AND participate in two HSRP competitions. An attendance certificate will be issued to those who have satisfactorily completed the workshop.
The workshop series will include the below activities:

In the preliminary round of the competition, contestants will have 1 minute to present. They should articulate the significance of biomedical science, showcase their understanding of the trends and developments in biomedical science, and address the obstacles faced in combating emerging infectious diseases and developing vaccines, or the influence of biomedicine on global health.
